Stream New Horrors Album ‘Luminous’; Listen to ‘Luminous’ in full before it’s May 5th release

After hearing the excellent new singles ‘So Know You Know’ and ‘I See You’ Horrors fans have clamored for a chance to hear more off their new album ‘Luminous.’ And now they’re in luck; the band are streaming the entire album for free via the widget below:

Luminous’ is the Brit group’s fourth album. Singer Faris Badwan said this of the release; “We’ve refined our sound and in terms of songwriting it is the record I’m happiest with.”

In an recent interview with Gigwise, he notes that “I think we develop because the whole essence of the band is about the desire to learn, improve, experiment and discover things. I think that’s what we find exciting about making music. That’s what we enjoy about it, so, naturally we’ll be experimenting with new techniques and new kinds of songs with each record. That’s what makes it fun.”

This is The Horrors first release since 2011 ‘Skying’, and at first listen it does share the same oceanic soundscapes as that release, but adding subtle new variations to their Dreampop meets Britpop sound.

So give ‘Luminous’ a listen and tell us your thoughts in the comments section. And you can pre-order the album on iTunes and Amazon via the links below. We’ll have a review for it up next week.
