Stream 2013 Coachella Festival on YouTube, starting tonight.
It’s that time of year again! The 2013 installment of the Coachella Music festival in Indio, California kicks off tonight.
For those of you (like myself) who aren’t fortunate enough to be rocking out in the desert, we’re all in luck as you’ll be able to stream many of the featured artists via YouTube this weekend, starting tonight.
Highlights for Friday evening include Nick Cave’s Grinderman, new wave legends Sparks, former Smith’s guitarist Johnny Marr, Violent Femmes, Trent Reznor’s side project How To Destroy Angels, Yeah Yeah Yeah’s, Blur and headlining will be The Stone Roses.
Tomorrow Spiritualized, The XX, Phoenix and New Order will be stealing the show, and Sunday, Social Distortion, OMD, and Nick Cave (again, with The Bad Seeds. Read my review of their latest album ) will be some of the bigger profiled artists featured (Click here for the full list.)
And click here to visit the festival’s YouTube page.
Many of these artists will also be playing at this summer’s Lollapalooza festival (click here for full lineup, and click here for this year’s Bonnaroo lineup.)
And if you haven’t already, be sure to vote in our best alternative rock bassists poll, featuring many musicians from this year’s lineup!
