Hello and welcome to The Top 30 Best Worst Movies of All Time Part 1. There’s something inherently satisfying in watching a wretched film, and its often just as pleasurable as watching a cinematic classic. That’s why the phrase Best Worst Movie makes total sense to those in the know. I’m not sure at the exact […]
Adios Kenny Powers. ‘Eastbound And Down’ came to its season and series conclusion this week. Do not read this until you’ve watched the finale, otherwise prepare for a spoiler. “Eastbound and Down” is one of the most refreshing and unapologetically dark comedies in ages. Watch Pulp Play at Coachella 2012: Pulp played a stellar set last night at Coachella. For those Britpop fans not able to make the trek to the California desert, we’re in luck. The fine folks at the festival had a live feed last night, and the full set is still available on YouTube (at least […]
Ministry Relapse Album Review Ministry returns with their new album ‘Relapse’. Was it worth the wait? When Al Jourgensen said he was putting his band on ice back in 2008, it seemed odd. Listen to New Soundgarden song Live To Rise: Antiquiet has the new Soundgarden song “Live To Rise” (which will be included on “The Avengers” soundtrack) available to listen to here. While even the best Soundgarden albums had a few clunkers (“Kickstand” anyone?), this one seems fairly devoid of energy or inspiration. I’m optimistic […]
Killing Joke 2012 Album preview: Update:* I’ve recently posted a review of this album. Check it out here. It’s rare that a band more than 30 years into their career creates new material that is as strong as their initial work, but Killing Joke still appears to be firing on all cylinders. One of the […]
