Fun Fun Fun Fest 2015 Lineup Announced: Austin left-of-center festival celebrates its 10th anniversary with one its most diverse lineups yet.
Today, Austin’s official 2015 Fun Fun Fun Fest lineup was announced, and while it’s not as exciting as yesterday’s Riot Fest roster, its 10th anniversary lineup has some very cool bands and one of the diverse lineups I’ve ever seen.
Major acts of note include Jane’s Addiction (playing Ritual de lo habitual in its entirety),CHVRCHES, Cheap Trick, Charlatans UK, D’Angelo, Wu-Tang Clan, Ride, Skinny Puppy L7, Future Islands, Grimes, Chromeo, MSTRKRFT, Coheed and Cambria (god I hate them), Desaparecidos, Drive Like Jehu, American Nightmare, Gogol Bordello, Converge, Neon Indian, and Peaches.
But wait, there’s more! British metal act Venom will make their Texas debut, Dag Nasty are reuniting specifically for the event, and hip-hop legend Afrika Bambaataa will be playing. As will Babes in Toyland, NOFX, Odesza, Speedy Ortiz, FUZZ, Mikal Cronin, OFF!, American Football, Parquet Courts, Benjamin Booker, Viet Cong, Alvvays, Joey Bada$$, Doomtree, Shamir, Dwarves (performing Blood, Guts & Pussy in full )BadBadNotGood, , Andrew Jackson Jihad, together PANGEA, Babes in Toyland, The Growlers, American Sharks and F**ked Up.
