Fun Fun Fun Fest 2012 Lineup Announced
After weeks of speculation, the Fun Fun Fun Fest 2012 lineup has been announced, and like years past it looks like a good one. With a diverse bill that includes everyone from iconic hip hop acts like Run DMC and De La Soul, post punk stalwarts PiL (let’s hope their show is better than their latest album), and local favorites like Explosions In The Sky, And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, and the Sword.
Recent metal bands I’ve been digging like Red Fang, Baroness and Torche will be appearing as well as raunchy rockers Turbonegro and iconic grind core legends Napalm Death.
And for you Mike Patton fans, Tomahawk will be playing, and indie rock stalwarts Superchunk and Refused will be making an appearance. Plus they’ll have a comedy tent with David Cross and others. These are to name just a few, so there’ll be plenty of bands vying for your attention on the four different stages.
All in all it looks like a pretty solid lineup. The Austin Chronicle has the full line up here. You can get your tickets here, but better move fast as they sell out quickly. The festival will be held as per usual from November 2nd-4th at Auditorium shores.
