Coachella 2015 Lineup Announced: official lineup for the annual Indio, California festival.
The lineup for the 2015 Coachella festival in Indio, California, has been released and…it’s a little lackluster compared to past years.
Headliners include AC/DC, Interpol, Drake, Steely Dan, Jack White, Florence and The Machine, Belle and Sebastian, Alabama Shakes, alt-J, St. Vincent and Ryan Adams.
Other acts (my faves in bold) include Tame Impala, The Weeknd., Lykke Li, Caribou, Ratatat, Azealia Banks, Flying Lotus, Raekwon and Ghostface Killah, Tyler the Creator, Father John Misty, Jenny Lewis, SBTRKT, The War on Drugs, Run the Jewels, Swans, Toro y Moi, Panda Bear, FKA twigs, Drive Like Jehu, Desparecidos, Built to Spill, Action Bronson, Jamie xx, Perfume Genius, Mac DeMarco, Eagulls, Angel Olsen, Vic Mensa, Todd Terje, Squarepusher, The Orwells, The Cribs, Brand New, Antemasque, Marina and the Diamonds, Haerts, St. Lucia, and Parquet Courts.

The most notable act, at least to me, is reunited British shoegaze act Ride. But besides them and the others highlighted above, this feels like the most generic and lackluster lineup in the festivals history, at least from a rock band standpoint, although AC/DC’s lack of hipster-dom is a highlight for sure.
For those who are excited, you can get your tickets starting tomorrow at noon PST at their official website, or via the Ticket Liquidator ad link at the bottom of the post.
Coachella 2015 runs the weekends of April 12th – 14th and April 17th – 19th.
