* 2012 ACL Music Festival Late Night Shows Announced

In addition to the recent news that the Austin City Council has approved expanding the ACL Music Festival from 1 to 2 weekends in 2013, we now have several late night shows announced for this October that music lovers can enjoy after they’ve recovered from a day out at Auditorium Shores.

There’s several acts that have my attention, including The Afghan Whigs Oct 13th at Antone’s (but sadly I’ll be at New Order in Dallas. Yeah, I know, poor me.). So glad to see this awesome band back in action (who made one of my favorite dark albums).

Hipsters will enjoy checking out The Shin’s (at Stubb’s), Metric and Crystal Castles  (both at Emo’s East) and Thievery Corporation (La Zona Rosa). Blues lovers can catch Gary Clark Jr (Stubb’s).
