Nine Inch Nails mastermind Trent Reznor is set to appear in the forthcoming music documentary ‘I Dream Of Wires.’
The rock doc’s focus is the history of the modular synthesizer from past to present; a quirky revolutionary sonic tool that continually stays in fashion amongst the music nerd set.

Interestingly, the movie will be released in several different formats. There will be the theatrical cut, which will arrive next spring (official release TBA), and for the ultimate synthesizer enthusiast, the filmmakers are offering a Hardcore Edition cut, which will be a far more lengthy (FOUR HOURS LONG!) version.
The Hardcore Edition is already available to purchase via Blu-ray or DVD on the movie’s official website. It will feature a lengthier interview with Reznor and his NIN collaborator Alessandro Cortini.
