The Jesus and Mary Chain Announce Psychocandy North American Tour Dates: the Reid brothers celebrate album’s 30th anniversary.
Noise rock legends The Jesus and Mary Chain are celebrating the 30th anniversary of their alternative noise rock classic Psychocandy with a tour playing the album in its entirety.
The band played handful of British dates in 2014, but they’ve just announced a slate of 2015 tour dates, including several North American stops, including a headlining set at the 2015 Austin Psych Fest-Levitation Festival in May.

Glad to see some Texas love (hint hint Faith No More…you broke my alt-rock heart).
Perhaps after this tour concludes, we may see a new album from the cantankerous Reid siblings? It sure would be nice. It was a blast seeing them at the 2012 Riot Fest, and I can only imagine how awesome it’ll be to hear this seminal release in all it’s blistering white noise glory.
