Hear New Depeche Mode Song ‘Heaven’, Album Releases in March

Hear New Depeche Mode song “Heaven” . New album ‘Delta Machine’ arriving in March.

I reported last year that Depeche Mode were working on a new album, and previewed a new song entitled “Angel Of Love.

Well now they’ve released a new song; “Heaven“.

They’ve also announced a proper release date for their new album, entitled “Delta Machine“, which will arrive in online and retail outlets on March 26th, 2013.

Like “Angel of Love”, the new song has a very bluesy, guitar driven sound.  And “Heaven” has with a stripped down somber tone not unlike the band Portishead.

You can listen to Heaven, on L.A. Station KROQ’s website.

Slicing Up Eyeballs announced that “Heaven” will be released as a single along with the B-side “All That’s Mine“. I actually think “Mine” is the stronger of the two songs, so it’s too bad it won’t be included on the full-length.  Currently, you can listen to “All That’s Mine” on Philly’s Radio 104.5.

These new songs haven’t grabbed me as immediately as songs in the past, but I’m still ready to hear more.

Both songs will be available for purchase on digital download this Friday, and by physical format next Tuesday.
