The Church Announce 2015 North American Tour Dates: Australian Alternative rockers launch Further/Deeper tour

Australian psychedelic icons The Church have just announced a slate of North American tour dates for 2015. The date start in Vancouver, British Columbia in late February and will wrap up at Austin, TX’s SXSW Festival in March. The band will also be guests at the SXSW Music and Media Conference.

The tour will be in support of the band’s latest release, the critically acclaimed Further/Deeper (click here for my review), which has already been released in their homeland, and will be available in the U.S. on February 3rd, 2015.

Further/Deeper marks the band’s first effort with guitarist Ian Haug (Powderfinger), who has replaced long-standing Church member Marty Willson-Piper.

Frontman Steve Kilbey, one of the busiest bees in music, has also just released a new autobiography, Something Quite Peculiar.

Full Tour dates are below. Note that there aren’t’ specific venues listed for SXSW. But given they’ve listed the full run of the festival, I expect to see multiple performances over that week. I’ll update when those are confirmed.
